The pleasantness of warm climates has always attracted people who are looking to escape the inconveniences of cold weather. Unfortunately, bugs and house pests are also attracted to the warmer climates. Houses located in these warm areas have a particular challenge when it comes to controlling house pests.
Sadly, fleas are a huge pest to both human and animal. These blood sucking bugs love hot and humid weather. Fleas are annoying and cause humans to itch and suffer scabs as a result of flea bites. Even more serious is the potentially fatal harm that fleas pose on pets. If one owns pets and lives in a humid climate, heartworm medicine is mandatory for all pets to protect from fleas. This is a necessity even if one lives in a climate that is cold during the winter. If there is humidity, there will be fleas. Flea bombs work wonders but one must make sure to clear out all pets and people before setting a flea bomb off.
Roaches
These house pests are perhaps the most gruesome and strong of all pests. It is a fact that roaches have walked this earth longer than man. It is thought that roaches will far outlive man as well. It is also a fact that once a house has a small infestation of roaches, that house must be continually treated for these unwanted villains. Although roaches usually do not bite, they are full of diseases and germs and are able to spread these all over one’s house. It is advised to get monthly spraying to keep roaches away. In very urgent cases, use a roach bomb to wipe out the current infestation and follow up with regular insecticide treatments.
Ants
Ants are hard workers who take their jobs very seriously. In other words, when ants invade a house, they consider themselves there to stay. Even though these critters are tiny and can be easily killed, their armies will continue to grow and pick up where their dead comrades left off. The best line of defense is to trace the trail of ant soldiers to where their entrance is. This is easy to do since the ants travel so precisely. Seal up an entrances and spray floor bases and doorways with ant spray.
